Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Oak Maturation: 70 % aged in new french oak barriques for 4 months.

Cellaring potential:  will age well for the next 10 years 

Vineyard: East facing site with free draining, coarse gravel soils help deliver a bold wine with zesty minerality.

Winemaking: Free run Sauvignon Blanc yeast fermented by natural yeasts in new french oak barriques.  Unfined with minimal filtration.

Colour: Freshly melted butter

Nose: Vibrant orange blossom and bartlet pear are seamlessly tied together with a generous amount of new oak.

Palate: A complex wine displaying balanced natural acidity, generous fruit weight with a savoury twist.  

Style: Fumé translates to 'smoked' referring to the emphasis on new toasted oak barrels.
