Oak Maturation : French oak barriques for 12 months post amphora.

Cellaring Potential : Will cellar well for the next 10 years.
Vineyard: Dry grown on a west facing site , allowing maximum sunlight inception into the canopy, for ideal cool climate ripening. The lean gravelly ironstone soils craft a wine full of dark fruits and subtle spice.
Winemaking: 10 % whole bunch, fermented and matured in amphora on skins for 160 days. Pressed to second fill oak barrels for 9 month maturation.
Colour: Deep crimson red
Nose: Notes of blackberry and savoury spice lifted by violet.
Palate: Dense layers of ripe fruit creating a powerful structure backed by super fine tannins.
