Dan Kittredge at the Farm Sept 16th

Dan Kittredge at the Farm Sept 16th

where does nourishment begin?

This September we are cohosting Dan Kittredge — farmer, educator, and founder of the Bionutrient Food Association, for a one-day workshop here on the farm.

Dan has spent decades helping growers understand the connection between soil health, flavour, and human wellbeing.
He’ll be sharing the principles behind nutrient-dense farming, which values vitality over volume, and long-term resilience over short-term yield.

If you grow food, make wine, raise animals, tend a garden, or just care about what ends up on your plate then this one’s for you.

Tuesday 16 September
9.00am to 3.00pm
Held at Glenarty Road, Karridale
$100 + GST —
includes morning tea and lunch.

Expect practical insights, lightbulb moments, and a fresh way of thinking about how food is grown, whether it's in a vineyard, a market garden, or your own backyard.

This event is hosted by our friends and mentors at Lower Blackwood Landcare, and is part of a broader initiative to bring Dan’s full nutrient-dense farming course to Australia in 2026.
